UKHIFU recently attended the BAUS meeting 22-25 June 2009 at the SEC in Glasgow.  A competition was held on the stand to give away a Leica D-Lux 4 Digital Camera with a 4GB SD Card.  The camera was won by Mr Yeung Ng, Specialist Registrar from Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.  The questions Mr Ng answered correctly to be put in the draw to win the camera were;

1. What % of patients had a negative biopsy after Focal HIFU?  95%
2. What % of men had erectile dysfunction after Focal HIFU and what % had wet ejaculations? 5% and 50%
3. What % of men treated at UCLH between 2005 and 2007 with whole gland HIFU had no evidence of disease after 1 year 92.4%
